PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity by further enhancing the speed of wearing work of a coat. SOLUTION: This press device is provided with a doll trunk 2, gripping devices 3L and 3R gripping the distal ends of both sleeves of a shirt S worn on the doll trunk 2, a back face iron 20 to be press-fitted to the doll trunk 2 from the back face side, and a front face iron to be press-fitted to the doll trunk 2 from the front side face. The front face iron comprises a pair of left front face iron 30L and a right front face iron 30R halved vertically, the left/right front face irons 30L and 30R are provided movably to the front face side of the doll trunk 2 so that the inside end face 31L of the left front iron 30L and the inside end face 31R of the right front side iron 31R are brought into contact with each other from the outside of the gripping devices; and provided with air cylinders 37L and 37R actuating the left/right front face irons 30L and 30R horizontally and air cylinders 33L and 33R actuating the left/right front face irons 30L and 30R to press-fit with the doll trunk 2.
