A butterfly valve is provided to prevent the durability of valve from being worse by fabricating the valve body and whole driving part made of anti-corrosive engineering plastics. A butterfly valve comprises a valve body(10) which is connected and installed on the conduit, a gear-box assembly(11) which is assembled on the top of the valve body and provides the power, a disc(12) which is placed concentrically inside the valve body, and opens and closes the path of the valve body, and a stem which is combined with the disc in the state of being supported by a stem supporter(13) of the valve body, and delivers the power that is provided from the gear-box assembly to the disc and rotates the disk.
