<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for providing a DRM license. <P>SOLUTION: This method/system includes a SYNC system for requesting a license as to a content, a source system for generating and providing a plurality of sub-right tokens including binding information having route information indicating a relation between a plurality of principals in response to the request, and a right arbitrator of coupling the plurality of sub-right tokens to generate a main right token, and for transmitting the generated main right token to the system, and the SYNC system determines the necessity of the approach of the license bound the principal by the principal based on the main token.
