PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle capable of appropriately controlling the roll state of a vehicle body according to the traveling state of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The control device for the vehicle independently controls the braking and driving torque of front and rear wheels according to the roll state of the vehicle body of the vehicle equipped with a suspension mechanism for supporting the front and rear wheels on the vehicle body, and thereby controls the roll state of the vehicle body. The control device includes: a traveling state detecting means for detecting the traveling state of the vehicle (Steps S12 and S13); and a roll control modifying means for modifying details of control on the roll state of the vehicle body according to the traveling state detected by the traveling state detecting means (Steps S14 to S16).
