<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally switch displays in a direct printer which displays thumbnails and main images on a display device in two stages. <P>SOLUTION: The photo direct printer includes a means to measure and hold time when the thumbnails are displayed when a subsequent image is selected before the main images are displayed with the thumbnails displayed, and realizes optimum two-stage image display by varying the display timing of the subsequent main images in accordance with the measured time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
