PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorbing floor spacer for an automobile enhancing habitability and impact safety using a lighter member. SOLUTION: The impact absorbing floor spacer comprises a hard foaming body and is laid on a floor surface of the automobile and the floor spacer is provided with a flat part and an inclination part projected to a front side of the flat part. A thick part is formed on an indoor side of the automobile and a honeycomb structure, a slit structure or a projection structure is formed on the floor surface side. A shape of the honeycomb structure, the slit structure and/or the projection structure is continuously or gradually varied in a thick thickness direction of the floor spacer body.
