PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing prowling insect pests, such as termites or black ants, which can totally eradicate not only trapped target insect pests but also target insect pests in nests. SOLUTION: This device for removing the prowling insect pests, includes a poison bait place, disposed at an approximate center of a stage having a prescribed height from a surface to which the body of the device is set; a slope portion binding the setting surface to the stage; a mirror-fished wall member; and a mirror-finished roof member in which slopes are formed and a hole is formed in a part of the slopes, where the wall member surrounds and covers the peripheries of the poison bait place and the stage and slits permitting the passage of target insect pests at lower end positions, corresponding to slopes; and pillar-like members reaching the setting surface are disposed in target insect pest invasion holes formed in the poison bait location. Thus, trapped target insect pests can reach from the slopes to the poison bait place, take the poison baits to die, or have contact with the poison baits and return to a nest, or bring the poison bait to the nest to totally eradicate the target insect pests inside the nest.
