ANTEL INTRAVENOUS ANTIEMBOLIC FILTER

The intravenous antiembolic filter for the endovascular prophylaxis of the thromboembolism of the pulmonary artery has a proximal part comprising the set of the arched resilient spacer rods made of the biologically inert material arranged into two layers (the upper cranial and the lower caudal) with the alternating rods of larger and lesser size. The rods are installed in the filter cartridge and curved outwards from the longitudinal axis of the filter. The distal part of the filter comprises the curved spacer rods arranged in one layer and attached oppositely to the cartridge.
