The proposed piezoelectric scanner contains a cylindrical piezoelectric element with electrodes at the inside and outside surfaces of the element. Thepiezoelectric element is connected to the base member, on one side, and to a holder for a detector on the other side. Along the longitudinal axis of the piezoelectric element, four through slots for electrodes are provided. The piezoelectric element is installed in a metallic cylindrical casing with slots that coincide with the slots of the piezoelectric element. The holder for a detector is fixed to the piezoelectric element by elastic plates.
