Welding additive contains (in wt.%) 17.5-20, especially 19 chromium, 10-12, especially 11 cobalt, 9-10.5, especially 10 molybdenum, 0.1-3.3, especially 3-3.3 titanium, 1.4-1.8, especially 1.6 aluminum, 0.04-0.12, especially 0.09 carbon, 0.003-0.01, especially 0.005 boron and 0.1-2.5 tantalum and optionally maximum 0.35 iron, maximum 0.05 manganese, maximum 0.1 silicon, maximum 0.0075 sulfur, maximum 0.015 phosphorus, 0.01-0.1 zirconium, 0.25-0.5 hafnium, 0.25-0.1 lanthanum and a balance of 55 nickel. An independent claim is also included for a method for welding a component using the above welding additive. |
