The proposed method for determining the content of pyrolysis of coal without access of air consists in drying the coal to the state of constant weight, accomplishing the pyrolysis of the coal at a maximal temperature, and determining the content of pitch, gas, and solid substances. The proposed method is distinctive by its enhanced accuracy.
