A plant for preparation of methane-containing gas of coal deposits for use in heat engines that is supplied through gas conduits from mine workings has a device for collection and enrichment of methane-containing gas, appliance for purification of collected saturated methane-containing gas for following use. The plant has a collector of fuel gas, cooler of enriched fuel gas with cooling machine of compression type with supply of electric power from electric generators that are mechanically connected to engines, this is installed after collector of fuel gas, cyclone with tank-degasser for purification of fuel gas from solid particles and drop moisture installed after cooler, and heater of fuel gas with supply of heat energy from system for engine cooling connected to cyclone, gas conduits and system of automation and control of thermal energy from system for engine cooling connected to cyclone, gas conduits and system of automation and adjustment.
