Introduced is a ferritic stainless steel having excellent high temperature strength and press formability. The ferritic stainless steel of the present invention comprises: 0.007 wt% or less (excluding 0 wt%) of C, 0.3 wt% or less (excluding 0 wt%) of Si, 0.5-1.5 wt% of Mn, 0.02 wt% or less (excluding 0 wt%) of P, 0.02 wt% or less (excluding 0 wt%) of S, 14-17 wt% of Cr, 1.0 wt% or less (excluding 0 wt%) of Mo, 1-4 wt% of W, 0.3 wt% or less (excluding 0 wt%) of Ti, 0.6 wt% or less (excluding 0 wt%) of Nb, 0.01 wt% or less (excluding 0 wt%) of N, 0.1 wt% or less (excluding 0 wt%) of Al, and the remaining consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities. Average size of the precipitates (Fe_2W) is less than 1 μm, and satisfies a following equation of Α = [(Fe+W) precipitation quantity / (Nb) precipitation quantity] < 1.0. |
