The roof antenna (1) has a base plate (3) with one or more antenna elements (5 to 8) and a design hood (9) for covering the inner area of the antenna covered by an intermediate hood (8). A seal (12) is provided round the contact face of the peripheral lower edge of the design hood and fasteners (B) at a central point allow the design hood to be fixed immovably or detachably to the intermediate hood with sealing action. An independent claim is given for dismantling design hood by inserting tool under wall of same and pulling on tool to release hood from detent sealing force.
