A coin changer 100 has a chute 110 which delivers coins into a funnel to be fed to an acceptor 104 which performs coin validation and routing. The acceptor 104 is removably mounted on the coin changer body 102. The chute 110 extends into the funnel to avoid coins jamming. The funnel 112 is split vertically and has a front funnel portion 120, two side funnel portions 122,124 and a rear funnel portion 118. The rear funnel portion 118 is attached to the coin changer body 102 and the front funnel portion 120 is attached to the acceptor 104. Thus it is possible to remove the acceptor 104 without removing the chute 110. |
