A method of the disclosure includes receiving a request initiated by a user to allocate a first amount of a resource; determining, using a processing device, whether the request can be fulfilled in view of a second amount of the resource available in a virtualized computer system; and allocating the second amount of the resource for the user in response to determining that the request cannot be fulfilled. |
