A heat exchanger is constructed of non-annealed copper and brass tubes having flat faces united by zigzag-shaped copper laminates. The heat exchanger further includes a combustion chamber receiving part located between a burner and a smoke exit, and an evacuation part located outside the combustion chamber and between an air exhaust fan and an exit leading into the enclosure. The enclosure has an air intake in communication with the fan. The heat exchanger is structured to facilitate heat exchange with water pumped in a closed water circuit.
