The portable unit consists of a globe (1) made from two separate hemispheres (4, 5) with the upper one opening about a horizontal axis (8) to reveal medical instruments and first aid equipment contained in the lower one, and a tubular support (2) connecting it to a base (3) with a waste container (18) and two pedals (20, 23). One of the pedals opens the upper hemisphere and the other opens a hatch (22) on the waste container. The support contains a cable to actuate the upper hemisphere and an electric wire for a battery-powered light (29). |
