<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device, especially an air bag device made by attaching an air bag to reduce shock on a two-wheeled vehicle rider to a wear of the rider, free from requiring connection of a vehicle body and the rider with a wire, and enabling shock detection of high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In this air bag device, an air bag device body is formed by forming expansion air chambers 11-16 in a jacket 1, and an ECU 3, a battery 4, a wireless receiver 5, a main switch 6, and an alarm system 7 are inserted into the jacket 1. A radio signal producing part 22 on a vehicle body side and a reference signal producing part 23 on a rider side produce each a radio signal and a comparative signal in a synchronized condition with a synchronizing signal sent from a wireless transmitter 17 on a vehicle body side, and a signal comparing part 24 discriminates dislocation of a phase of both the signals. The device detects separation of the rider when delay amount or change of delay amount of a radio signal from the radio signal producing part 22 is large, and notifies to an air bag driving part 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
