METHOD FOR CLEANING HOLLOW COMPONENT, CLEANING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MAINTENANCE OF TURBINE BLADE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for cleaning an inner side face of a turbine blade in which the time for cleaning is reduced with low output and the damage having a possibility of occurring on the lateral surface of the turbine blade is reduced.

SOLUTION: The method and the apparatus for cleaning the turbine blade 28 use a cleaning liquid 14 through the blade 28 and a transducer 16 for generating ultrasonic waves 15 transmitted to an inner surface 36 of the turbine blade 28 via the flow of the cleaning liquid 14. By the ultrasonic waves 15 released by the transducer 16, the energy transmitted via the cleaning liquid 14 within an inner cavity 34 and transmitted toward the inner surface 36 of the turbine blade 28 is generated. Stain and scum are removed by the ultrasonic waves 15 coming into contact with the inner surface 36 of the turbine blade 28. As a result, the turbine blade 28 can be rapidly and efficiently cleaned with the low output.
