摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biochip reading device capable of accurately detecting the position of the site on a biochip, and a biochip reading method. <P>SOLUTION: The position of the site can be detected using reflected light or transmitted light containing no exciting wavelength corresponding to the concentration of the biochip 60. In a case using the reflected light, a light source 21 is operated. The light from the light source 21 passes through a barrier filter 22 to be bent by a dichroic mirror 23 and passes through the dichroic mirror 3 to illuminate the biochip 60. The reflected light in the biochip 60 enters a CCD camera 13. The output signal of the CCD camera 13 is sent to an arithmetic part 51 and the position of the site on the biochip 60 is detected in the arithmetic part 51. Since the biochip 60 is irradiated with illumination light containing no exciting wavelength and the position of the site on the biochip 60 is detected on the basis of the reflected or transmitted light of the illumination light, the site can be illuminated with uniform brightness without bringing about the fading of fluorescence and the position of the site can be accurately detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
