PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a connection time at dialing of a cordless slave unit placed on a master unit in the case of lifting up the cordless slave unit from the master unit from a dialing preset state wherein the master unit displays a telephone directory and an outgoing/incoming call register or the like. SOLUTION: When an operation of designating a destination is started in a preset display state when the cordless slave unit 1 is placed on a charger 3, the master unit 2 instructs the cordless slave unit 1 to start wireless connection and the cordless slave unit 1 starts the wireless connection to the master unit 2 while the cordless slave unit 1 is placed on the charger 3.
