PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a refrigerator using CO<SB>2</SB>as a refrigerant, the high-temperature piping of the refrigerant of a refrigerating circuit disposed near the opening edge of the refrigerator cannot be used as a dew condensation prevention pipe. SOLUTION: In this cooling storage comprising a main body composed of a heat insulating housing opened at its one face, a heat insulating door mounted on one face side, a machine room defined at a deep portion of the main body, a compressor mounted in a machine room and forming a part of the refrigerating circuit, and a dew condensation prevention pipe 4c disposed at the opening edge of one face of the heat insulating housing, the refrigerant of the refrigerating circuit is CO<SB>2</SB>, the dew condensation prevention pipe is a part of a condenser for condensing the refrigerant discharged from the compressor, and a dew condensation prevention electric heater 29 is disposed in parallel with the dew condensation prevention pipe 4c.
