The spice box has a mounting plate having an even plate (6) and spice holder (1). A surface of the plate is a metal plate (7) which can be affected by magnetic forces or permanent magnets. The spice holder has, at its top side, continuous magnets (3) or metal elements which can be affected by magnetic forces, so that the holder and plate cling together due to their magnetic attraction.
