PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply remove adhesion adhered to a window glass of a stored light scanner. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is provided with a guide member 76 for guiding wind blown in the inside of an apparatus casing 12 onto the window glass 18. Thereby the adhesion (e.g. dust and droplet) adhered to the window glass 18 is blown off, dried and removed. Thus, since the adhesion adhered to the wind glass 18 of the light scanner 16 can be removed from the outside of the apparatus casing 12 without removing the light scanner 16 from the apparatus casing 12 of the image forming apparatus 10, the adhesion can be simply removed.
