PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness of a cross roller bearing and assemble a lid member 17 stopping up an insertion hole 16 in which a roller 15 is assembled easily. SOLUTION: In this cross roller bearing constituted in such a way that raceway grooves 13, 14 are formed in an inner ring 11 and an outer ring 12, respectively, the roller 15 is assembled into through the insertion hole 16 formed in the outer ring 12, the roller is provided between the raceway grooves 13 and 14, mutually adjacent rollers 15 make their central lines of axes cross orthogonally, and the insertion hole 16 is stopped up by the lid member 17, a flange 22 is provided at the outer periphery of the outer ring 12, its outer side end face 22a is made substantially flush with an end face of the outer ring 12, and its inner side end face 22b coincides with outer ends in the axial direction of the raceway grooves 13, 14 or corresponds to a position being an inner side more than them.
