PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for dip coating which is applicable for various coating objects. SOLUTION: The tool 1 has a cylindrical outer frame 11 comprising a mesh material, dips a workpiece 2 in paint as it remains housed in a housing space 20 inside of the outer frame 11, and pulls up the workpiece from the paint to rotate it around the axial center of the outer frame 11 so that excess paint deposited on the workpiece 2 can be removed by the centrifugal force. The tool has partition members 14 extended radially along the outer frame 11 in the housing space 20 and for partitioning the housing space 20 circumferentially along the outer frame 11, wherein the workpieces 2 are housed one by one in the housing space 20' partitioned by the partition members 14.
