<p>Provided is an optical disc device by which recording and reproducing in and from a DVD-RAM disc can be performed. The optical disc device can be controlled stably and at a high speed without being influenced by CAPA components. The optical disc device is provided with an error signal detecting section for detecting an error signal from a signal component obtained from an optical pickup; a filter for removing specific frequency components contained in the error signal; a hold section for temporarily holding the error signal; a switching section for switching the input of the error signal to either the filter or the hold section; a servo control section for controlling the optical pickup by using the error signal outputted from either the filter or the hold section; and a controller for applicably controlling the switching timing of the switching section in accordance with the specific frequency component included in the error signal.</p> |
