<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system and an image processing method which permit setting of papers in a paper cassette without being concerned about the direction of the papers, even when printing is made on papers which require consideration of printing direction, such as government postal cards. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing system comprises an inkjet printer with a duplex printing mechanism which feeds a paper from one end, feeds the paper again from the other end, after making printing to one side of the paper, reverses the paper and performs printing to the other side; and an information processor which generates printing data of the inkjet printer on page basis and reduces the user's time and labor, by deciding on the paper setting direction, from the result of idle printing performed by the inkjet printer prior to printing and generates printing data, according to the direction of the paper determined by the information processor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
