PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake alarm device for assisting appropriate actions in case of earthquakes, capable of attaining rapid diffusion, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This device integrally comprises a plurality of alarm lights 2R, 2Y and 2B differed in color; a shock detection means 4 detecting an earthquake and outputting a shock detection signal having a continuous or stepwise value according to the magnitude of the shock; a determination part 5 determining which of a plurality of predetermined levels the value of the shock detection signal falls in; a driving part 6 lighting any one of the alarm lights 2R, 2Y and 2B corresponding to the level determined by the determination part 6 for a predetermined period from the time of determination, and a power supply part 7.
