<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of improving energy density and of improving charge-discharge efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: This battery is provided with a rolled electrode body 20 composed by rolling a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 by interposing a separator 23 therebetween. An open circuit voltage thereof in complete charging is in a range of 4.25-6.00 V. The separator 23 is impregnated with an electrolyte.
