<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a barrier wall for preventing an ink repellent agent from leaking onto a glass substrate by imparting desirable ink repellency to a barrier wall surface in order to prevent color irregularity and color mixing due to ink overflow from occurring while securing excellent flatness of pixel film thickness, in regard to a manufacturing method of a color filter in which the barrier wall having opening parts is formed on the substrate and colored ink is formed in the opening parts on the barrier wall containing the ink repellent agent. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a color filter comprises: a process of applying a barrier wall resin composition, which is dispersed into a solvent and the ink repellent agent having a specific gravity larger than that of the solvent by 1.05 or more, onto the substrate; a process of performing exposure and development by using a mask pattern on a photosensitive coated film of the barrier wall resin composition; a process of mounting the substrate while directing the barrier wall formation surface of the mask pattern downward, and heating the substrate so that the top end part of the barrier wall may contain more ink repellent agent than the bottom end part thereof; and a process of discharging colored ink having a surface tension of 40 mN/m or less by using an ink delivery printer and forming a colored ink layer in the opening parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
