<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card processor for determining a failure of an IC card itself due to the disconnection or conduction failure of the IC chip part of an IC card. <P>SOLUTION: This IC card processor 1 is provided with: insertion ports 3a and 3b for inserting an IC card 10; guide paths 4a and 4b for guiding the IC card 10; an IC contactor set 6 installed on the opposite side of the insertion ports 3a and 3b of the guide paths 4a and 4b so as to be brought into contact with the IC contact part of the IC card 10; and a holding part 7 in which the IC card 10 is held in a curved state and a non-curved state, and in which the IC contact part is held so as to be brought into contact with the IC contactor set 6. This device 1 is provided with an inspection part 8 for bringing the IC contactor set 6 into contact with the IC contact part, and for determining the validity/invalidity of communication or the validity/invalidity of reading/writing in such a state that the IC card 10 is put in the curved state and the non-curved state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
