MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SEAT PAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat pad having a fastener attached on the surface by laying end parts of the fastener inside the pad for strongly fixing it to the seat pad while preventing misalignment of the fastener and reducing variation of the amount of the end parts of the fastener laid inside. SOLUTION: Marks 50 are provided on the fastener 14 at predetermined longitudinal positions from the ends 14b. The fastener 14 is positioned longitudinally by using the marks 50 with respect to a holding groove 44 provided in an inner face of a mold 30, and the fastener 14 is fitted in the holding groove 44 so that the end parts of the fastener 14 remain projecting into a cavity 36 from the ends 44a of the holding groove 44. The mold 30 is closed and filled with a foaming material foamed inside the cavity 36, and the seat pad 10 is foamed and molded so that the end parts 14a of the fastener 14 remain buried inside the pad.
