PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor which enhances the joining strength by the laser irradiation between the joint member and the end of the positive electrode of a capacitive element, and also prevents a through-hole from being formed in the joint member by the laser irradiation. SOLUTION: A joint body 81 is joined to ends 11B-61B by carrying out laser irradiation so that a dot may be provided in the direction which intersects a laminating direction of capacitive elements 10-60, from the opposite side to the joint body 81 side which are brought into contact with the ends 11B-61B of positive electrodes 11-61 of capacitive elements 10-60. Dots 81a and 81b at the end of the laminating direction of the capacitive elements 10-60, and a dot 81c which adjoins the dots 81a and 81b are shifted in the direction perpendicular to the laminating direction of the capacitive elements 10-60. The dot 81c is formed in a position between the dots 81a and 81b in a direction perpendicular to the laminating direction of the capacitive elements 10-60. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
