PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable storage container for storing micro artificial snow-like soft ice comprising sea water and salt water, and for utilizing the snow-like soft ice by separating the salt water from the snow-like soft ice when the snow-like soft ice is melted. SOLUTION: A variable storage part 2 is separated into a storage chamber 9 for the soft ice and a storage chamber 8 for the separated water by a moving pressing plate 5. A slide groove 12 is formed in the variable storage part to be opposed each other at front and rear side walls, the moving pressing plate is provided vertically in the slide groove so as to be slidable, and a draining hole 13 is formed at one of right and left side walls.
