PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake pad for bicycle capable of joining a friction member with a back plate by a diffusion joining method and relaxing restrictions on materials of the back plate. SOLUTION: This disc brake pad 76 for bicycle is used in a disc brake device 12 and is provided with the back plate 77, a thermal spraying layer 78, and the friction member 79. The back plate 77 has a thermal spraying face 77c on its surface. The thermal spraying layer 78 is a layer formed on the thermal spraying face 77c and made of copper or copper alloy.
