PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately extract a signal with less computational complexity to improve frequency use efficiency under the condition that many signals are overlapped on the same frequency in a radio station in the receiving side. SOLUTION: The signal separator comprises a variable frequency band-pass filter for varying the pass band by limiting the frequency band of the receiving signal, a signal parameter detecting means for detecting signal parameters of a plurality of signals included in the receiving signal, an extracting order determining means for determining the extracting order of the receiving signal from the receiving signal and signal parameter, a parameter control means for controlling pass band of the variable frequency band-pass filter from the extracted signal and signal parameter, an equalization determining means for equalizing and determining the output signal from the variable frequency band-pass filter, and a replica generating means for generating a replica of the receiving signal using an estimated value of the transmission path estimated by the determination result and equalizing process in the equalization determining means.
