The outer structure has inlets (4, 5) for the main and auxiliary gas streams and an outlet (6) for the mixed gas stream. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a hollow article of thermoplastics using the apparatus, in which the gas for the main gas stream is tempered (specifically heated) before entering the blow mold cavity.
