<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-resistant bulky fabric excellent in thermal insulation, and to provide a heat-resistant protective garment produced using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-resistant bulky fabric is obtained by weaving crimped filament stretch-broken textured yarns. In the fabric, the crimped filament stretch-broken textured yarn comprises fiber bundles comprising single filaments 25-1,400 mm in length composed of aramid fiber, polybenzimidazole fiber, polyimide fiber, polyarylate fiber, poly-p-phenylene benzobisoxazole fiber or the like, wherein the fiber bundle is 2.0-5.0% in stretch elongation percentage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
