<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus bar switching device that enables averting the occurrence of an event, in which failure due to the lifetime of a motor load occurs, when a bus bar is switched and operation is stopped for a long time, and to find out the time of the failure in the motor load as maintenance information. <P>SOLUTION: The bus bar switching device includes a first power receiving circuit breaker, that is placed between a first power supply system and a first bus bar supplied with power from the first power supply system and disconnects or connects the first power supply system and the first bus bar; a second power receiving circuit breaker, that is placed between a second power supply system and a second bus bar supplied with power from the second power supply system and disconnects or connects the second power supply system and the second bus bar; a communicating circuit breaker, that is placed between the first bus bar and the second bus bar and disconnects or connects the first bus bar and the second bus bar; and switching determination means. When a bus bar switching signal for switching the first power receiving circuit breaker or the communicating circuit breaker is inputted, the switching determining means switches the first power receiving circuit breaker and the communicating circuit breaker, based on: the voltage difference and the phase difference between the first bus bar and the second bus bar, and service lifetime value that is computed, based on electrical or mechanical loss incurred by a motor load, connected to the first bus bar and the second bus bar. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
