PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load control unit which enables a user to execute ON/OFF operations of an individual load using an operating switch when an load communication control section is detached, and is connected to a network and enables a user to remotely control installed appliances or the individual load when the load communication control section is attached. SOLUTION: The load control unit 1 is provided with the load communication control section 11 detachably/attachably connected to a load control unit body 22, and provided with a network connection terminal T4 to be connected to a network signal line L; an installed appliances load connecting terminal T3 for connecting a load of an appliance to be remotely controlled via the control section 11; a power feeding terminal T1 for feeding power source to the individual load; a switch connecting terminal T2 for connecting the operating switch; and the load control unit body 22 having a load power source feeding section incorporating a control relay to be controlled by the control section 11.
