<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a messaging system whereby a user less feels resistance and bondage resulting from supervision by means of an image. <P>SOLUTION: A client apparatus 100 transmits an image with lower image quality than the quality of an image imaged by a camera 352 to a server apparatus, and the server apparatus transmits the image to another client apparatus 100. When one client apparatus 100 requests the other client apparatus 100 to transmit a sharp image, the one client apparatus 100 inquires of the server apparatus about the address of the other client apparatus 100.
