PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning laser microscope system and a light quantity detector which allows quantitative observation by informing an operator of the quantity of light radiated to a sample by a luminous stimulus. SOLUTION: The laser microscope system includes a stimulating optical system 20 for radiating stimulating laser light for giving a stimulus to a specific portion of the sample, a photodetector 42 for measuring an intensity of the stimulating laser light, a light quantity correction circuit for correcting a measurement value from the photodetector 42, an integration circuit 44 for integrating a detection value from the light quantity correction circuit 43, and a display device 6 for displaying a detection integrated value from the integration circuit 44.
