<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cell preparation obtained by culturing undifferentiated hematopoietic cells to efficiently produce megakaryocyte cells, especially blood platelets, a cell treatment which is expected to be performed by domestic and foreign companies on the outsides of hospitals. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the blood platelets comprises (A) a process for inhibiting the functions of Lin or its equivalent in blood plate precursor cells and (B) a process for differentiating the blood plate precursor cells.
