<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform photographing, without missing a shutter chance, without being affected by a stroboscope charging state. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a photographing system including a photographing lens optical system 12 and a CCD 13 for photographing an object image; a stroboscope emitting unit 35 for emitting flash light of predetermined luminance or more in a predetermined charging state or more using charged power; and a control part 22 which decides from the charging state of the stroboscope emitting part 35 possibility/impossibility of light emission of predetermined luminance or more and a charging stage in the case where light emission is possible, and executing photographing using the stroboscope emission part 35 while improving photographing sensitivity step by step in the photographing system in accordance with the charging stage when it is decided that the stroboscope emission part 35 can emit light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
