PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance workability and assemblage for components constituting a torque sensor, and to enhance detection sensitivity of the torque sensor. SOLUTION: In this torque sensor 30, the first and second cores 40, 50 are formed by insert-molding shielding materials 42, 52 comprising a nonmagnetic material with magnetic materials 41, 51 mixed with magnetic material metal powder in a resin, and nonshielded parts of the magnetic materials 41, 51 in side ways of portions shielded by shielding parts 40B, 50B of the shielding materials 42, 52 in circumferential directions of end faces of the cores 40, 50 are formed as magnetic path forming parts 40A, 50A on the end faces of the cores 40, 50.
