PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper used for a speaker that can enhance the drive efficiency when the speaker causes small distortion. SOLUTION: The damper 12 provided to suppress rolling of a voice coil body 2 being a component of the speaker comprises: a corrugate structure part 10 at an inner peripheral part; and a plate spring 11 at an outer circumferential part, and is configured to connect the corrugate structure part 10 to the voice coil body 2 and the plate spring 11 to a frame 5 so as to reduce the distortion of the speaker and to improve the drive efficiency.
