PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfide compound that has a high refractive index and a high Abbe number, is excellent in heat resistance, weather resistance and transparency and is therefore suitable as a raw material for manufacturing optical products such as plastic lenses, prisms, optical fibers, substrates for information recording media, colored filters, infrared ray-absorbing filters or the like, and its manufacturing method.
