PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact sheet conveying device having the cost advantage which is capable of obliquely feeding a sheet sufficiently even in a short distance. SOLUTION: A conveyance resistance member 210 is provided in a sheet passing area. An obliquely feeding force is given to a sheet P to be conveyed on a sheet conveyance passage by an obliquely conveying roller 101 and an obliquely feeding roller 102.
